Dedicated/Travel Consultant for Lincoln, Nebraska: We are seeking
candidates who reside in Lancaster County, Nebraska.
- This role requires that the consultant spend 50% of his/her time
dedicated to the plan and the remaining 50% traveling.
- The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct enrollment
and education meetings for the employees of new and existing clients. In
order to fulfill the Retirement Education Team role, 50% travel is
expected (last minute travel may be required, including weekends).
Although the RET team is dispersed regionally, coast-to-coast travel is
required to meet client needs.
- The secondary responsibility of this position requires 50% of time
dedicated to conducting education sessions for employees in & around
Lincoln, Nebraska on an as-needed basis. The candidate selected will be
responsible for developing a set schedule at the facilities within their
assigned territory.
Activities include but are not limited to:
- Develop strategic relationships at Centers of Influence within
his/her assigned territory.
- Work with Communication Director(s), Relationship Manager &
Client Service Reps and/or client to deliver specific
enrollment/education presentations which meet the individual needs of
each employee group. This requires and in-depth understanding and
ability perform effective meetings.
- Effectively conduct individualized presentations to varied groups of
employees.
- Focus on programs and meeting annual goals:
a) a weekly business plan will be adhered to including information on
- Increasing participation
- Increasing participant deferral rates
- Educating employees on asset allocation principles
- Acting as the "voice of the customer" by relaying important
client opinions/concerns obtained during on-site visits to the
appropriate Retirement Services area (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Client
services, Transition Team).
- Meeting all state license and internal prudential requirements for
maintaining proper registrations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- FINRA Series 6 & 63
- Life insurance licensed
- Must abide by Prudential Retirements licensing requirements.
- Minimum 3-5 years financial services experience (primarily in the
retirement market)
- Independent worker
- 50% travel
- Spanish speaking a plus
- Results oriented individual
